The room should leave different.

What an organizer can expect from working with them, what an audience carries out of the room, and the fieldwork the method comes from. Named endorsements below. Measured numbers when there are enough engagements to report them honestly.

Proven with the hardest audience there is

Before this method ever touched a corporate stage, Shannon and Hugo built it for Denver youth growing up without consistent adults, through Forever Becoming YOUth, the 501(c)(3) they co-founded and still run. Every claim on this site traces back to work they do with their own hands, every week.

What to expect

What you walk away with

Two people have to be satisfied at the end of an engagement: the person who booked it and the room that sat through it. They are not looking for the same thing.

If you booked them

  • Someone who answers. Questions get a reply in a couple of business days, not a week.
  • Work before the date, not just on it: shaping the talk to the room, promotion, and a rehearsal if your run of show needs one.
  • One point of contact, a written run of show, and nothing for you to chase.
  • Two speakers who read the room in front of them rather than delivering the version they gave last week.

If you were in the room

  • A straight answer to a question most people work hard to avoid asking themselves.
  • A way to tell the difference between a script you inherited and a direction you chose.
  • One decision you own, small enough to make this week and yours to keep.
  • Language for it the next morning, when the feeling has worn off and the habit has not started.
