What's included

The engagement, end to end

Before the event

  • Discovery call with your team to map the audience, theme, and the one change you need
  • A tailored keynote, never the same deck twice
  • Pre-event promo: a custom 60-second video invite from Shannon and Hugo for your attendees
  • Marketing kit: approved headshots, bios in three lengths, talk descriptions, and social copy

On the day

  • Both founders on site (or one, by agreement), with early arrival, sound check, and no green-room disappearing act
  • A talk timed to your run-of-show, to the minute
  • Post-keynote availability: meet-and-greet, breakout, or fireside Q&A
  • Zero surprise requirements. The full rider is two pages, not twenty

After the event

  • A follow-through resource for every attendee, tied to the talk
  • A debrief call with organizers within one week
  • Audience survey data shared with you, unedited

Ready to use

Your introduction, written for you

Hand this to whoever is holding the microphone. It is timed to about thirty seconds and it sets the room up for the opening.

Our next guests have almost nothing in common. One of them has spent fifteen years in criminal courtrooms, standing next to people on the worst day of their lives. The other has been an Olympian, a middle-school principal, a college basketball coach, and the founder of several companies.

They came to the same conclusion from opposite ends of the same room: you are not the worst chapter of your story, and it is never too late to write the next one. Please welcome the founders of Polar Opposite Life, Shannon Roy and Hugo Maynard.

Planner FAQ

Asked and answered

What does an engagement cost?

Every engagement is quoted to the event. The investment depends on format, travel, and whether one or both founders take the stage. Education and nonprofit rates are considered case by case. You get a firm number in the one-page proposal, with travel quoted in it so there are no surprise line items.

Do they speak together or separately?

Both. The signature format is the duo, two opposite lives on one stage, but each founder delivers solo keynotes where the fit is right.

Do they travel?

Yes, nationwide, and internationally by arrangement. They travel from Denver, Colorado. Virtual delivery is available for every talk, and travel is quoted with the proposal so there are no surprise line items.

What do you need from our AV team?

Two wireless lavs or headsets, confidence monitor, and standard projection. The full two-page rider comes with the proposal.

Can they tailor the talk to our theme?

They will not deliver it untailored. The discovery call exists so the keynote lands inside your event narrative, your language, and your moment.
